Favorite Send to FastDrawMichigan beat #2 seeded Louisville, to advance to the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Coach Pitino said,You take away Michigan's right-hand, you have a very good chance of stopping them off the bounce. This was in reference to Louisville's struggles to keep Michigan from getting to their right hand. It is no coincidence that Michigan is able to accomplish this, despite their opponents knowing about this strength. The Wolverines do some things, which enable them to maximize their ability to get to their right hand. Look for more of this, from the hottest team in the Country, as they continue their run next week. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Atlanta Dream have scored numerous times by adding this simple wrinkle to the end of "Floppy Action." A back screen, with a screen-the-screener pin down has resulted in layups and open jump shots throughout the WNBA Regular Season. By Doug Brotherton: What's the Best Bargain in Basketball? Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is another counter to the double stagger action. The back cut by the 3, makes it look like a set up for a double stagger. As the 1 arrives, the 4 flips to screen-the-screener. The 1, who is usually Toliver, pops for an open 3. The 4 slips to the rim. On the FMS Blog: WNBA Finals - Top Plays Breakdown See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is good action into a double drag ball screen which will involve the opposing 4/5 to be in position on a lot of action. This is a great set to run in combination with the Horns Dive Split set I posted from Marquette as well. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Houston Cougars use this set to give their guards double driving gaps and accentuate it with sending them to that gap off a non-traditional double drag screen. The 3 man coming from high to low in order to set this traffic screen puts x3 in a very tough situation depending on ball screen coverage. It simply looks like 3 will slice through and then he will flip his hips into a double drag screen with 4. The set ends in beautiful spacing with room to play on the catch. While Houston's initial action doesn't always result in a basket, the action shifts the defense with hard cuts, body to body screens, and threatening drives. This creates driving lanes where that Cougars will crack by the end of the posession. #Top25XsOs: Honorable Mention Teams | Teams 25-21 | Teams 20-16 | Teams 15-11 | Teams 10-6 | Teams 5-1 *New customers use discount code SAVE10 at purchase* See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawVillanova is known for being a very fundamentally sound basketball team. They do a tremendous job of valuing the ball (1.4 Asst./TO Ratio) and finish around the rim at a high percentage (66% avg. past 2 years). This is a drill that the men's basketball team does in practice throughout the year to work on getting open versus pressure, working on their triple threat (pivots, jabs), and finishing strong around the basket. Favorite Send to FastDrawA drift pass is made from a baseline drive or catch where you force rotation from the defense. Teammates should be spaced in the opposite corner or slot. If they are not in position as the catch or drive occurs, then it is his or her responsibility to move to those spots as an outlet for their teammate. Baseline drives either force defense to rotate with the help defender covering down on the big or the defense begins to ball watch losing sight of their match up and being late on the closeout.
