Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Aces ran this SLOB as they were clawing back in a tense game with the Phoenix Mercury. The most dangerous person in this situation is the inbounder, Kayla McBride. Well timed and executed screening creates an opportunity for her to get to the rim and finish. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn their matchup with Notre Dame, Texas A&M had to deal with a Triangle and 2 on their two best scorers, Chennedy Carter and Kayla Wells. They were ready with another excellent quick hitter to get a potential post to post high low for a layup. Using Carter and wells to create space, they were able to use well-timed pin screens and the defense against themselves to find openings to score. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 2:45 left in the 1st quarter against Notre Dame, Texas A&M ran this beautiful quick hitter against ND's Triangle and 2 defense. With elite scorers like Chennedy Carter and Kayla Wells, Notre Dame employed a junk defense to slow them down. TAMU was ready and ran this to get a 2 on 1 at the rim. Though they didn't score (blocked layup), the preparation for this defensive adjustment and the players' ability to execute was fantastic. A good set to keep in the back pocket for teams with the luxury of having two stellar scorers. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawPoint guard starts play on right side and dribbles back left to initiate the pass to the 2 man in the corner. 5 man sets a fake screen on the four and will receive a screen from the 3 man for a lay-up. 1st Option is 5 man for lay-up and 2nd Option is 3 man snapping back on a switch cut. Triangle Alignment and play goes to 4 man with same action as Triangle 5 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn Game 2 of the Spurs-Rockets series, in the 2017 NBA Playoffs, Popovich ran this ATO set. It is a terrific design, based on the fact that the Spurs love to isolate Kawhi Leonard (3). On the screen-the-screener action, it looks like an isolation, but is actually a "Hammer Action." This is a screen, to set up the baseline drift pass. It resulted in a wide open 3 for Danny Green, as the Spurs opened up a 10-point halftime lead in Game 2. Look for more isolation sets, and "Hammer Actions" from the Spurs, throughout the Playoffs. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBrad Stevens is earning a tremendous reputation as a great ATO coach. In tonight's game (4/6/17), he ran this SLOB on back-to-back ATOs. It is a simple, but effective, screen the screener action. See More
