Favorite Send to FastDraw23 Zone breakdown drill to teach the "BUMP" on the wing. The drill can be a halfcour teaching drill, but as drawn it also encompasses full court conversion with an offensive advantage. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Horns set provides a couple of options as 5 rolls to the basket, stops and set a screen for 3. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play was #3 on the most downloaded plays of 2018! Check out the full list and download the playbook: The Top 25 Plays of 2018 "Fire" is a zone set, which was effective against my team this summer. That is one of the best ways to find quality set plays. "If it works against us, it will work for us." Fire uses a misdirection back screen, with a screen-the-screener action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA floppy action is common in the NBA and at many other levels. It's a great action for shooters who are given time to read screens and be a threat off simple down screens. Since the Warriors have so many shooters, their use of the Floppy action is particularly dangerous when Curry, Thompson and Durant are all swirling around each other -- and more dangerous in those instances where Curry or Thompson are screeners. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Spurs used this high-low play in Game 3 against the Grizzlies. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavaliers use one of their best shooters in a screen the screener action to get him open for a clean look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Chicago Bulls are trying to make a playoff push, late in the 2016-2017 season. They used this secondary break multiple times in the 2nd half of their win over the Philadelphia 76ers. It resulted in numerous baskets, allowing the Bulls guards to get downhill in the pick and roll. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWay too often, teams have put the ball into a player's hands, and asked him to be a hero. There is no action being run, and the player dribbles into a contested shot. The goal of this is to give coaches some other actions that they can use to generate a quality shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawRotations are extremely difficult to nail down and teams must drill constantly to make sure there is an understanding of who is rotating. The other factor that makes these rotations work is constant communication. The best defenses are constantly talking and communicating with each other. Another note when practicing the rotations, it is important to have all players practice every position in the rotation. It helps them learn what their teammates are doing but situations may occur where they will be in position. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHorns Set. Off the corner PNR action the screener receives the back screen moving hard into the ball side post on the opposite side for a quick pass and isolation action as the passer cuts away to the weak side taking away the help on the ball side and possible post double. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Secondary action is a good "read" action by the Post making the wing pass. Sprinting-to-screen, the "read" has the Post slip to the basket and the second post cuts behind for a posible Hi / Lo pass off the elbow. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUNC runs the SPNR on the wing looking to come off and attack or hit the post coming off the cross screen in the lane. The cross screen creates traffic, making the defense have to guard multiple actions at once. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set is one of my favorites of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. There are numerous scoring opportunities, as it is a combination of multiple actions. Xavier ran this set in their Sweet 16 game, against Arizona. The set resulted in a wide open three point attempt. The play gets a ball reversal, has a shuffle cut, double stagger screen, and flows into Floppy action. Great stuff by Coach Mack! See More
