Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a two option play for a shooter and a posting 3. Starts in triple stack and dribble out to right wing by 1. Ball reversal to 5 signals a 4-2 flare screen. On the catch by 2, if no shot or bounce possible, 4 screens across for 3 to catch and score or post up and score. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is the last counter in a series that the Dallas Mavericks used against the Miami Heat in their title run in 2011. Rick Carlisle does an excellent job of recognizing the strengths of the players that he has on the floor and taking advantage of those strengths. In this play sequence Jason Kidd is the (1), JET Jason Terry is the (2), Shawn Marion is the (3), Dirk is the (4), and Tyson Chandler is the (5). This set is a great example of getting your best scorers. Dirk (4) and Jason Terry (2) in position to do some damage. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set that has been used effectively by Butler University over the past few seasons. The concept of this play is similar to Americas play, just in this set there is a stagger back screen set for the post as opposed to a simple cross lane screen. This has been a great set for Butler and hopefully you can find it to be effective as well! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMemphis opening play of the fourth quarter in their game 4 win over OKC. The way Collison played the screen and rescreen by Gasol allowed Gasol to get deep post position. Arthur doesn't feed Gasol but dribble hand offs with Bayless. Sending two defenders to Bayless on the DHO was a great move because OKC gave up a 18 ft jump shot to Arthur which is a relatively low % shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDetroit ran this play against Miami down 1 with less than a second to go in a 2011 game. If you have some players who can shoot the ball and a leaper this could work for you. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 10 seconds left in their 82-81 Sweet 16 upset win over Baylor, the Louisville women ran this play against Baylors full court press. 2 was wide open but Louisville couldn't throw the pass because 6'8 Griner was on the ball. If you have an inbounder who is matched up with a defender of a similar height this could work for you. Make sure to have the inbounder step back off the baseline to improve the angle to get the ball over the defender. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDown 2 with .7 left the Celtics ran this lob to tie it up vs. the Heat in a 2009 game. Coach Rivers got this play from an AAU game. This play is all about reading the screening action. If 1's defender goes under the screen, 1 would bump off the screen for a jump shot. If 1's defender tries to trail the screen or play on the outside and deny the catch then the curl for the lob is open. If 1's defender fights through the screen but does not deny 1, 1 can still catch and shoot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOpening play by OKC in the 4th quarter of their 103-97 game 4 loss to Memphis. An effective screen by Fisher frees Durant up to catch the ball. A strong side drive by Durant draws three defenders and he passes to an open Martin in the corner. As you can see x3 plays inside Collison because x5 rotates to stop the drive. This defensive rotation frees up the highest percentage 3 point shot in the corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play was from one of our early season non-conference opponents. The play call 'wide' was used against man to man defense. Best executed for programs that have a go to big man or versatile 4. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn an attempt to get Amar'e Stoudamire going during his limited minutes, Mike Woodson had the New York Knicks ran this post-up action several times last night in their win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Spreading the floor our the way the Knicks did made this action difficult to run and would be an excellent option if you have a dominant post player on your team. By using Jason Kidd to set the screen on Stoudemire, you make the defense make a decision to switch or help and recover. In my opinion, switching is not even an option. By helping and recovering, the defense arrives late and allows the post player to catch and make a move towards the rim quicker. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Knicks ran this play midway through the 4th quarter of their game 5 win over the Pacers. With the Knicks going small and having Shumpert set a ball screen then pop, the Pacers were forced to guard the three point line which opened up the roll for Chandler. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOpening play of the second half ran by Miami in their game 5 win over the Bulls. Although LBJ's pass was tipped, this is great action to get a guard who can finish close to the basket. Also entering the ball to a playmaker at the elbow puts a lot of pressure on the defense. Favorite Send to FastDrawOpening play ran by the Heat in their 94-91 closeout game 5 win over the Bulls 5/16/13. With two dynamic scores handing off and a potential Haslem ball screen the Bulls defense was focused on the strong side. Having Bosh pin down for Chalmers game him space to attack the hoop in the center off the court. Altough Boozer was guarding Haslem, and Haslem was standing on a wing, Boozer was protecting the rim. If the Heat had a stretch 4 in at the time, Chalmers would have had a clear path to the rim, or a kick out to a wide open shooter. See More
