The Indiana Pacers ran this UCLA set in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Miami Heat. This play gives three scoring options in the UCLA cut, the post up, and the down-screen. The Miami Heat did a very good job guarding this action so the Pacers ended up running a middle ballscreen late in the clock.
1 (Hill) passed to 2 (Stephenson) and UCLA cut off a screen from 5 (Hibbert). 1 was not open for the lay-up so he set a backscreen for 4 (West) to post up off the block. 5 then set a screen for 1.
