Favorite Send to FastDrawThis basic box alignment can lead to multiple scoring options. Option #3 is designed for ball reversal followed by on ball 4-1 screen. 1 uses the screen to drive into the paint to score. 2 spots up on the right wing for open three if his defender helps. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis basic box alignment can lead to multiple scoring options. Option #2 is designed to clear the right side of the floor for 2. The key is 4's pass fake to 1 before passing to 2 on right wing. Immediately on the catch, 2 puts it on the floor to the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAn option out of the Carolina break. If the ball can't be reversed to the trailer the pg can use the trailer as a screener and set up a 2 man game on one side of the floor with a stagger on the weak side of the floor. When running secondary breaks it helps to be able to run offense from both sides of the floor. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a play that VCU head coach Shaka Smart ran in his first season with the Rams. This play is all about timing and patience. 4 must wait for 5 to clear the elbow before rolling out to set the pick. Furthermore, 1 must also be patient and allow 4 to be set before using the screen. Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night the Florida Gators ran this zone offense play which lead to Freshman Chris Walker’s first points in a Gator uniform. If you watch Florida enough, you know that Billy Donovan frequently runs pick & rolls versus a zone to get two defenders guarding one and put the defense in compromising situations. This overloaded action does just that. What makes this play especially hard to guard is Florida had two point guards on the Florida making them extra dangerous on the dribble. As Kasey Hill came off the pick, not only did he have the options shown below, but he also had a throwback option to their lethal 3-point threat Michael Frazier II.
