Favorite Send to FastDrawAn action the Pacers ran against the Hawks in Game 1. This is a great action against teams that hard hedge or trap the ballscreen. The Hawks were behind and really trapping the high ballscreen, the Pacers ran this for layups and open jumpshots down the stretch. THe 4 man only has to make a read on the guy guarding 2, if he stays in and helps in on 5s dive then 2 will be open for the jump shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play was run by the UCLA Bruins in their 1995 Championship game against the Arkansas Razorbacks Excellent set, multiple scoring options See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set that gets a flare screen for a post player. A nice play to run in transition or at the end of the games if you need a quick score. The play starts with a dribble handoff and ballscreen. The play ends with a flare for your shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is an out of bounds play we use late in the game, when a team is playing us M-2-M under. It allows us to create mismatches on teams that will swtich the screening action or we will hit the flex cut for a score. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is a 1-4 high set that can be used to set up a dribble handoff with two options rolling to the basket. If neither is available, a quick pass to the wing allows the post to seal after the roll for a post entry. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a Box Set run by the Illini last night in their game against Indiana. A good set that incorporates the use of the ball screen to set-up a weak side double stagger freeing up their talented shooter Rice. The play doesn't end with the shot as the ball is reversed and what looks like a SPNR action turns into an open side penetration. Groce does a great job utilizing the box in their offensive system and this is a play with multiple scoring possibilities See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawI figured with so many people doing one set and one drawing, I wanted to offer something different. After reviewing all four games of the Western Conference Finals between the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs I looked at actions that were successful and one's that didn't have quite as much success. I started with the Memphis Grizzlies. The play diagrams below are drawn for multiple plays with the play name titled directly on top of the court frame. These play diagrams are in order with the video you can find here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hYblZmLbIM&feature=youtu.be This way you can view the video and look at the play diagrams while the video is running. I hope you enjoy looking at the Memphis Grizzlies WCF Playbook. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a common play in our area of Northwest Ohio that I'm sure is used in college and pro's. This play is great because it is designed to for a high post entry, and a "scissor" cut with 2 guards. You can get good looks for 3's off the scissor cut and double screen. This play also offers a chance to enter to the post player with a double screen and post entry, or the big can fake handoff to both players, and have a high post isolation. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw- Drill starts out with a big / little downscreen and an L cut on the opposite side - Once the ball is initially entered, there is NO DRIBBLE - Points are given for reversals, passes, and baskets - If the ball is dribbled it is a turnover (NOTE: You can also play this 5 on 5 and 3 on 3 and you can start with drill with a flare or backscreen) See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set plays gives multiple players on the floor an opportunity to make a play. If no one scores within the continuity of the offense, the ball ends up back in the point guards hands for a side ball screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPlay taken from ISU Coach Hoiberg. Setting a drag screen puts pressure on the defense early. If 4 is denied in the post, flashing 5 to the elbow and a DHO with 1 will allow an offense to have flow. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawBasic 1-4 low entry with a speed cut to the top made by #4 to the help-side slot. Favorite Send to FastDraw"Slice" is an NBA term for a shuffle cut action. This is an action that is popular with several international teams. The Turkish National Team ran this during the 2010 FIBA World Championships. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawJerry Sloan used to use this play in a BLOB situation to free up his shooters and create confusion amongst the defense. Because of the odd formation and amount of bodies in the paint as a result, Utah would get a free look from the periemter or catch a defender out of position in the paint trying to compensate for their team's poor defensive strategy. Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick hitter from the box set. 3 is your best scorer in this play. Give him the option of using a single screen on the right side or a double screen on the left side. 4 can screen and post on right side option. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawVillanova used this BLOB play to get their talented Freshman Arcidiacono an open look at a 3 pointer in the game against Temple The first screen by Bell is also effective if the defense doesn't react on the screen, the weak side baseline pass is open See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWe use a lot of ball screens in our basic offensive movement to create advantages for easy scoring opportunities. Favorite Send to FastDrawHead Coach Jim Boeheim has once again shown what a masterful Coach he is turning this year's Orange into the 2nd ranked team in the nation with an undefeated record. The Orange have made a smooth transition to the ACC and sit atop the standings with a big showdown against Duke looming this Saturday in the Dome where over 34,000 tickets have been sold. This Transition Stagger action is a good way to get a shooter off early in the offense if the defense sits back and relaxes. The play can also end in a post entry pass. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is a quick hitter run by Syracuse during the 2012 NCAA Men's Tournament. The Orange use a Horns Set to overload a side and double screens to set up a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a proven set play for a three point shot attempt late in the game. 3 is used as a decoy to catch, return pass to 1, and curl over screens by 4-5. 1 drives the ball from left to right as 2 cuts between 4-5 as they screen and "shut the door." This will free 2 for open three point shot. See More
