Favorite Send to FastDrawCuster Wildcats (SD) Boys Basketball ran this set vs. Lower Burle (SD) several times in their recent contest on 12-31-13. The little to big downscreen action makes switching it a difficult proposition and putting a shooter limits any help side defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set Williams ran against Amherst to get a post slipping to the basket. Have to have great timing and spacing as their are a couple of options to score in the action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is a 4 out 1 in set to get a great post entry with good spacing. This play is best run with a 4 that can handle the ball and make a strong post entry. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis BLOB allows for some paint looks and multiple screening actions. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a great quick hitter that can be run right out of transition that Iowa State used numerous times throughout this past season. The quick hitter is tremendous because it flows right out of transition and seeks to put the ball in the hands of your best players (2 and 5) multiple times. Also, this play creates great spacing for your trail man (5 in this play) to get the ball in an isolation scenario if the other options are not available. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere's a fun play for the holidays out of a "Reindeer" set from the NHSBCA Playbook. The 1 brings the ball up the floor and signals which of the players stacked together at the free throw line will step out to set a ball screen. The options that follow all depend on who set the initial screen. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Set Play run by Murray State from a SLOB situation is really well designed. The Racers use three sets of double staggered screens to get themselves into a position for the best shot in the offense. The timing and execution of this play was great to watch and Payne does a good job getting his post man a touch inside after a perfect read of the defense, using the zipper cut up the lane to take advantage of the defense cheating over the top. Favorite Send to FastDrawA set Denver ran against New Mexico State to get a post touch. There are a lot of options to score with the flare/slip, post up, then the Kansas backscreen. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night during LeBron James' homecoming, the Cleveland Cavaliers ran this action to start off their game vs the Knicks to kick off the 2014-15 season. Running LeBron to the weak side put more attention on the pin-down for 5 (Varejao) as the Knicks thought the action would be going to James' side of the floor. However, the Cavs sneaked in 4 (Love) behind the rim off a cross screen and was able to seal his defender for an easy catch and score. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUtah State MBB ran this single-double action against UNLV on 1-22-14 with 17:05 remaining in the 1st Half. This is great action to run if an offensive player is hot and needs to be fed or if you play a team that does not switch or help against screening action. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen defenses have tried to deny passes to the perimeter, we've run this play to get them to back-off with their pressure. The 4 man must be able to get open at the elbow and deliever a good pass to the back-cutting 2 man once he catches. Finally, the dribble handoff allows the point guard and the 4 man to make a play on the open side of the floor. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night in their loss to the Florida Gators, the Memphis Tigers ran this post-up action to get Goodwin and Nichols playing a two-man for a hi-low. With limited size coming off the bench for the Gators, Memphis really attacked Florida's bigs trying to get Patric Young and company in foul trouble. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a Horns set that the Miami Heat ran last night during Game 7 of the ECF versus the Indiana Pacers. Since the Pacers were flattening all ballscreens (helping lower to prevent rim attacks) this was the perfect set to run because it made X5's (Hibbert) rotation slower and late as he was unable to recover in time before Bosh could get a shot off. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Florida Gators ran this pick & roll in their win over South Carolina on Tuesday night. Coach Donovan really stresses the importance of timing in his offense and drills it on a daily basis; the timing on this play was flawless. As 1 (Wilbekin) came off the 2nd pick from 5 (Young), the roll was so open because Florida’s Frazier (3) was on a shooting tear and X3 did not help into the lane enough on Young. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Wildcats are undefeated and sitting on top of the polls Sean Miller has a .781 winning pct. in the Pac 12 since 2010-2011 season This Transition Set uses various screens and ends with a ball screen action opening up the lane for penetration, a pull-up jumper, or pass to the roll man See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCones are set up with tennis balls (or similar sized ball) on top of them in the 5 spots as diagrammed. Player 1 has "the ball" and the other 4 teammates are ready to react to "dribble penetration". Player 1 starts the action by picking the ball up off of the cone and sprinting to the basket. As soon as Player 1's ball leaves the cone, the other 4 players must Circle Move, taking their ball with them. Player 1 must put the ball in the basket (layup or dunk!) before the other 4 players place their ball on the next cone. The player moving from the corner along the baseline must place the ball on the opposite short corner cone. The last player to complete their task has an exercise (jump squats, pushups, etc) 5 fills out to corner, 1 fills open spot, and 3 becomes the player with the ball. You can start the ball from any of the 5 spots, and the player with the ball gets to choose which direction to dribble penetrate. *VARIATIONS - last 2, 3, or 4, players have to do the exercise; 4 against 1 - the player with the ball has to beat the other 4, See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Portland TrailBlazers ran Twin Zipper Flare last season, and again this season, to get their shooters open looks off a flare screen. The action serves as a misdirection by swinging to one side of the floor, then reversing back to the original side once it empties. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMany coaches have requested some Michigan information. I went through all of their makes this season so far and found this unique set that has many options out of it. The Wolverine Tandem set has a drive to the basket, drive and kick, the follow POB, the throw back, the throw back and get etc... options. This is just a small progression of this quick and easy set that Michigan runs. See More
