About This Play/Drill

Many coaches have requested some Michigan information. I went through all of their makes this season so far and found this unique set that has many options out of it. The Wolverine Tandem set has a drive to the basket, drive and kick, the follow POB, the throw back, the throw back and get etc... options. This is just a small progression of this quick and easy set that Michigan runs.

  • 4 and 5 set a double tandem screen for the 1 to drive to the basket
     

  • 4 and 5 set a double tandem screen for the 1 to drive to the basket.

    1 kicks to the shooter 2 in the corner

    (Backdoor option)
     

  • 4 and 5 set a double tandem screen for the 1 to drive to the wing

    2 cuts to the opposite corner

    3 spaces up

    5 follows with an on ball screen

    4 dives to the basket
     

  • 4 and 5 set a double tandem screen for the 1 to drive to the wing

    5 rolls to the basket

    1 throws back to 4 at the top of the key
     

  • 4 and 5 set a double tandem screen for the 1 to drive and kick the 2

    1 cuts to ball side corner
     

  • 2 passes to 4

    5 sets a down screen for the 3 to get open

    3 can curl, fade or space to get open
