Favorite Send to FastDrawSLOB set ran by the U20 Serbian team in the Eurobasket Championships in 2015. Timing of the down screen set by 4 should be practiced for timing purposes. 4 should set down screen for 2 once 1 starts the cut up to 5 to receive the stationary DHO in the slot. The false action in this set creates a solid opportunity out of the spread pick and roll. The ball coverage of the ball screen (x2) will be weak and late due to the down screen set by 4 and also with the DHO by 1. As a result, this will put extra pressure on the defending big involved on the ball screen (x5) and should create an advantage out of the spread pick and roll. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn the 2017 NCAA Tournament, Middle Tennessee State ran my favorite BLOB play. The "Circle Action" begins with a DHO, followed by a Cross Screen, and ending with a screen-the-screener down screen. This set scored twice in Middle Tennessee State's first round win. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKansas State ran this misdirection BLOB in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. On the catch, the 5 dribbles towards the weak side Flare Screen, while the 2 "rips" off of a baseline screen. This BLOB resulted in a wide open three pointer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is my favorite BLOB of the 2017 NBA season. It begins with a double stagger, to get a catch. After the catch, the Clippers throw to 5, to initiate a "Pistol" action. The 5 does a dribble hand-off, followed by a down screen, and run to the rim. The 1 can turn the corner, throw back to the shooter behind the drive, or look for the 5 on the lob. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis BLOB has resulted in multiple big shots for the Cleveland Cavs. They ran it for a Kyrie Irving three pointer, in the 2016 NBA Playoffs against Detroit. They also ran it, as an ATO, in the 2017 NBA Playoffs for a game clinching lay-up. The stack formation makes it especially difficult to guard, as the defense can not pre-switch any of the actions. Favorite Send to FastDrawWrinkle out of the Celtics' ATO "Zipper Iverson Keep" action. 5 fakes ball-screen for 1 then turns around to set a comeback screen for 2. 1 also has the baseline pass to 4 for Hammer action. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw"1-up Pop" is a set that has been featured in our "Plays YOU Can Use" series for ball screen sets, and also for lob sets. It is a typical high ball screen, which features a STS back screen, to get a dunk, or a high low look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOne of the most brilliant after timeout plays Kerr has run in his time with the Warriors is this back screen set they run for Draymond Green. By using Curry as a screener twice, the Warriors are able to punish teams that pay too much attention to Steph and not enough to their other scorers. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA floppy action is common in the NBA and at many other levels. It's a great action for shooters who are given time to read screens and be a threat off simple down screens. Since the Warriors have so many shooters, their use of the Floppy action is particularly dangerous when Curry, Thompson and Durant are all swirling around each other -- and more dangerous in those instances where Curry or Thompson are screeners.
