Basketball Play - Floppy GO

Floppy GO

Cody Toppert 09/04/2015

Floppy GO differs from Floppy GET in that the big who set the primary pin down will then continue to set a block to block screen for the weak side big. The weak side big then sprints to the SPNR, presumably with is defender unattached. The benefits of this are late or non-existent PNR coverage. Thus a good screen in the PNR will allow the wing to get to the middle of the court and cause a mismatch or present an advantage. See More

Basketball Play - Virginia Tech Corner Flare

Virginia Tech Corner Flare

Brandon Mullis 08/30/2015

Virginia Tech ran this SLOB set late in the game against Boston College this past season. The shooter was the second man in triple staggered screens/Iverson cut for the wing. The shooter then received a back screen to flare to the corner upon the baseline drive. He was wide open in the corner and knocked down the shot to pull his team within one possession with about 1 minute left to play in regulation. See More

Basketball Play - Senegal 1-4 High Stagger Away

Senegal 1-4 High Stagger Away

Wes Kosel 08/20/2015

This continuity stagger offense was used by Senegal in the 2014 FIBA World Cup. 1 passes to 3 on the left wing. 1 and 4 then set a staggered screen for 2 on the wing. If 2 doesn't have a shot, he passes to 1 as 3 curls around a screen from 5 into the lane. 2 and 5 can then set a staggered screen for 4 on the block. If 4 doesn't have anything, he passes to 2. 3 sets a screen for 1 and then 4 and 3 set the staggered screen for 5. See More
