Favorite Send to FastDrawFlorida won their first round match-up with Nevada. In the 2nd half, they turned to this BLOB set. The set clears the side, behind the ball screen, which opens up the lob. There are multiple options on this set, as 1 reads the help defense, which makes it a great play to put into your playbook. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBelmont won their First Four game, and leads Maryland in their first round game at halftime. Down the stretch of the First Four win, Coach Rick Byrd went to his "popped" series. This is the base set of the series. Belmont will run countless counters out of this set. Favorite Send to FastDrawBuffalo runs this play to get MAC conference player of the year CJ Massinburg (3) the ball off of a handoff where he can turn the corner and attack the basket. The play starts with 5 setting a decoy screen for 4 to initiate movement. 1 then dribbles off of the ball screen from 5 to hand the ball off to 2, who is cutting out of the corner. 4 & 5 cut to the right side of the floor to open up the left side for 3 to attack the basket. Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen Murray State has to run a half-court set it will usually be a ball screen for their point guard Ja Morant. This play combines multiple actions to make the help on the screen late so their point guard can attack and get in the lane. 4 starts the play with a pindown screen for 3. 3 curls around the screen to set down screen for 5. By having 5 use a screen in order to sprint into the ball screen it gives him a head start on his defender and makes it difficult to provide help on 1 coming off the ball screen. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Euro Ball Screen action was a staple of the Duke Blue Devils from the early to mid 2000's . This action is NEARLY impossible for a hedging defense to guard. The key to this action is getting the ball quickly reversed to 4 who can hit 5 for a easy layup. Click to view the latest FMS Plays of the Week! See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawA different entry to get into the very common and popular Horns set. Gonzaga uses what I call a 'delayed slip' in this action, catching the defender in a hedge, resulting in getting a deep post catch. Click to view the latest FMS Plays of the Week! See More
