This is a BLOB play the Cleveland Cavaliers used, playing against the Golden State Warriors on January 9th 2015. The elevator action is a decoy for the actual option, a Kevin Love pop out behind the arc.
- 3 (SMITH) FAKES CUTTING OVER BOTH 5 (LOVE) AND 4 (THOMPSON) AND USES THEM AS AN ELEVATOR SCREEN
- AS SOON AS 3 (SMITH) CUTS THROUGH, 4 (THOMPSONS) SETS A SCREEN FOR 5 (LOVE) WHO POPS BEHIND THE 3 POINT LINE
- 4 (THOMPSON) DIVES TO THE BASKET AFTER SETTING THE SCREEN
- 2 (MILLER) CUTS TO THE WEAK SIDE CORNER
