Williams-Elbow Downscreen
03/01/2013A set Williams ran against Amherst to get a post slipping to the basket. Have to have great timing and spacing as their are a couple of options to score in the action. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawA very good blob I saw from Hanover against Rose Hulman on Saturday. A different alignment and only a single guy setting the screen in the double curl action makes it harder to guard. Hanover was able to get their PG an easy layup off this look. The play could be finished a lot of different ways with screening actions on the backside or the 4 man diving to the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA good blob from a high school game this week. A natural triple for a shooter that the team scored twice on. The first time they slipped the last screen and the second time they got an open 3 for the player they were setting the triple for. Could also run a single double action out of this or run it against a zone. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA SLOB that Southern Indiana used to run while I was at Parkside. They always had very quick pg's and this action gave us a lot of trouble. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA quick hitter Michigan ran against Wisconsin to get Tim Hardaway an isolation. 1 has to come off 5's ballscreen hard and then on the pitch back to 2, 5 sprints into a ballscreen. Can finish with the 5 man rolling hard. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set Denver ran against New Mexico State to get a post touch. There are a lot of options to score with the flare/slip, post up, then the Kansas backscreen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set we used to run at UW-Parkside with a lot of success against teams that were bigger or that hedged ballscreen really hard. Timing is really important to the success of the play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA good SLOB I saw from the Denver-New Mexico State game. Denver was able to get a good shot for the 2 man coming off the DHO. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA lob play Michigan ran last night against ohio state. Probably would be the best to run this if you had a time out to spare in case you cant get it in. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set that I saw Army run against Navy last week. The 2 man has to set it up like he is just cutting through on the normal shuffle action and then recieves the screen from 3. Army finished with the down screen, but the elevator option would also work. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set Michigan ran against Ohio State for Trey Burke. The triple ballscreen comes pretty naturally out of this action and with the roll and replace options could be really hard to guard if you have a good pg. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA good counter action to get a shooter a shot off of the ballscreen double backscreen action that a lot of teams run. 5 sets the ballscreen and then tops off the stagger to get 3 a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother really good set from Ohio State's game vs Michigan. The key to this play is the 4 man tight curling the flare and immediately going into the cross screen with 5. That way he can create seperation for himself when 1 downscreens for him. Although they finished the play with 1 coming out on the baseline side, this play could also easily finish in another Cross Screen for the 5 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set that Ohio State ran a lot vs Michigan. They ran this for Deshaun Thomas (4 in the diagrams) when you go through the set, the 4 could score off the initial ucla and off the baseline screen. They also finished it with a dho from 5 to 2 with the 3 man replacing behind it. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA SLOB that Arizona ran against Colorado to get Nick Johnson a shot in the second half. See More
