The Volunteers opted to use this play to get the ball quickly to halfcourt so they could call a timeout and run a sideline out-of-bounds play for the win. It took a little too long to run (1.6 seconds) which left them with only 0.1 seconds left on the clock for their next play. Love this set. I am a huge fan of getting skilled bigs at the top of the key with the ball and space. The misdirection to begin softens the defense up and then there are countless possibilities you can finish this set with. I love the natural push of the drive off of the weave and Chicago action handoff into the flare on the weak side. That flare can be easily mis-guarded and result in a slip and a wide open layup for the screener. I love the built in throw-back, or "shake" action with the ball screen, roll, and corner lift as well. A lot of bang for your buck with this one. See More

This is a great quick action to get you a great look going downhill off a 1-4 flat set. This will get 1's defender turned around just enough to struggle with 5's ball screen especially if he arrives alone. See More
