Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a counter out of the Boston Celtics "Swing" series that they've been running at the 2017 NBA Summer League. 3 is overplayed on the wing and denied a pass, so he back-cuts to the basket. 3 sets a cross screen for 4 then immediately receives a down-screen from 5. 3 comes off of the down-screen looking for a pass from 2 for a shot at the top of the key or drive to the basket. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a counter out of the Boston Celtics "Swing" series that they've been running at the 2017 NBA Summer League. Rather than 2 passing to 4 and receiving a back-screen from 5 for a shuffle screen, 2 dribbles at 4 and 4 back-cuts to the basket for a post-up. After 4 receives the ball on the block, 5 sets a back-screen for 2. 2 cuts to the basket looking for a drop pass from 4 for a layup. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawBrad Stevens ran this ATO set in the first half of Game 1, against the Chicago Bulls. It resulted in back-to-back baskets for the Celtics. The first basket was a lob. On the second basket, the Celtics ran the set all the way through. The key to the set is that the Celtics used their best shooter to set the back screen, which eliminated the Bulls' ability to help. More coaches should use their best shooters as a screener, when their team is in need of an easy basket. Great design by Coach Stevens! See More
