Basketball Play - Indiana Hoosiers - Flip Shuffle STS

Indiana Hoosiers - Flip Shuffle STS

Dustin Cooper 10/04/2018

This is great quick hitter used after a timeout by Coach Archie Miller. I like this set because it uses some false motion followed with a screen the screener action that really puts pressure on the defense to communicate. As seen in the video clip below, the defenders do not switch correctly which leads to a wide open three. TIPS: Coaches incorporate false motion combined with STS actions! Give the defense a "dummy" look before entering your STS look. See More

Basketball Play - Indiana Hoosiers - Zone Attack (2 plays)

Indiana Hoosiers - Zone Attack (2 plays)

Dustin Cooper 11/11/2018

Overloading against a zone can be overwhelming for the defense. Indiana coach Archie Miller uses these two overload actions to create a 1 on 1 matchup with his bigs vs the middle of the zone. 1: In the first video clip, the wing defender is confused on who to cover and leaves the corner wide open. 2: In the last clip, the wing tries to split the wing and corner offensive player, leaving a 1 on 1 in the post, which is exactly what the Hoosiers are looking for. Basketball Play - Defensive Zig Zags

Defensive Zig Zags

Jessica Davis 10/10/2018

Each player will start in the right or left corner. The players will proceed to get in a defensive stance slide out about 3 steps and change direction into a zig zag format until the player reaches the opposite baseline. Once each player gets to the opposite end of the court, the players can re-start the drill. See More
