We then turned into a small sided game by the passer closing out. 1 passes to wing to set up UCLA Screen 5 then ball screens for 2 and rolls to the block as 1 goes to the rim as if to use a double from 3 and 4. 1 twists back off of 5's screen on the block. 4 flashes to elbow, 3 cuts to corner. 2 looks for 5 on seal, then 1 off 5's screen. 1 can shoot, drive or pass to 5 in the post. 1 passes to 5 on the shape up as 4 cuts to opposite block 5 dribbles at 1's defender, hands off to 1, then goes down to set up a staggered double with 4. 2 waits for the handoff and flex cuts off of 4's screen. 2 looks for a pass from 1 at the rim then immediately reverses direction and sets up a staggered double with 4 to screen 5 into the post. 1 can enter directly to 5 or swing to 3 for the post feed. 3 comes off of a double screen on the backside as a decoy. 1 dribble penetrates trying to get to rim. If defense leaves the shooter 1 kicks for a 3. If defender stays home on shooter and 1 can't get to rim, 1 looks for 5 on the opposite block or 4 in the high post. 4 can hit 5 on the high-low. If none of these options are open, 4 and 5 pin in 3's defender for a skip pass. See More

1 pushes 2 through on dribble, 3 screens for 2, 5 and 4 set double screen for 2. 1 hits 2 for shot. *NOTE: 3 can post up after screening if there is a position advantage, otherwise clear to corner. If shot is not there for 2, 5 sets flare screen for 4, then dives to rim. This sets up an ISO situation for 5 to set a PNR for 4 with shooters spaced out on the weakside. See More

The 1 initiates the play by dribbling at the 2 who cuts backdoor and receives a downscreen from the 5 and cuts to the top of the key, (If the 2 defender overplays, the 2 may counter by kicking out to the short corner or 3pt. line). If the 2 does not have a shot, 4 sets a high ball screen. The 2 looks for the pull-up jumper, penetration to basket, or reads the 3 and 5 defenders to kick it out to 3 or dump off to 5.
