Favorite Send to FastDraw1 dribbles to the left wing as 3 sets a screen for 4 at the top of the key. 4 cuts to the basket and 3 steps towards the ball. If neither option is open, 4 screens across the floor for 5. 4 then cuts around a staggered screen for 2 and 3. 1 looks to pass to 5 at the basket or to 4 for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA DHO entry to Floppy will most likely be on the wing Guard to Guard. This means the point guard would speed dribble pitch the ball to the corner wing coming up. The wing will now become the point of initiation and the point guard will be come the activated player. This look most likely proceeds to be a back screening action by the strong side big. The popular version employed by the San Antonio Spurs involves a guard-to-guard DHO and a triple staggered baseline screen for Tony Parker who sprints the base line to find the scoring option on the weak side. Important to not the weak side wing must be the second screener I order to prevent a switch on the final screen, thus negating any type of advantage or open shot. Once the defense gets use to the triple baseline screen, Tony Parker will often times enter and exit the same side, thus showing us a DHO into a traditional Floppy Look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawVirginia Tech ran this SLOB set late in the game against Boston College this past season. The shooter was the second man in triple staggered screens/Iverson cut for the wing. The shooter then received a back screen to flare to the corner upon the baseline drive. He was wide open in the corner and knocked down the shot to pull his team within one possession with about 1 minute left to play in regulation. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 dribbles off of a staggered ball-screen from 4 and 5. 4 rolls and 5 sets a down-screen for 3. If 3 doesn't have a shot, 5 sets a ball-screen as 1 sets a pin-down for 2 in the corner. 2 curls around the screen and if he isn't open he continues his cut to the opposite wing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this 1-4 high set play, 1 dribbles left off of a ball-screen from 5. At the same time, 3 moves into the lane and sets a cross-screen for 2. The first option is to pass to 2 in the corner for a shot. If that isn't open, 4 sets a flare-screen for 5. If the flare isn't open, 4 sets a down-screen for 3. 1 looks to either pass inside to 4 posting up or to 3 for a shot at the top of the key. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe first video clip is a simple side ball screen with a double screen on the weak side of the floor. The interesting thing about this action is the spacing UK uses on the weak side of the floor. The double screen is set just inside of the three-point line which is more commonly seen in NBA sets where defenses have to play tighter to their man due to everyone on the floor being able to make shots. Kentucky ends up getting a lay-up in the post out of this action as Wisconsin can’t over help with the double screen being right below the 3-point line. The second video clip is a ball screen set at the top of the key to an open side of the floor. If the guard can’t attack the open space he throws back to the popping 4 man who looks for his own shot. On his catch the 3 man that’s stacked up with the 5 man slams 5’s defender so 4 has a straight line pass to 5 sealing in the lane. The deep post catch forced Wisconsin to double down and left UK’s guard wide open for a 3-point shot. See More
