Favorite Send to FastDrawNigeria runs multiple plays out of the Princeton or Chin set. This play works well with a good secondary ball handler who is comfortable in pick & roll situations. After receiving the pindown to get open, 2 uses the ball screen from 5 to make a play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is one of Nigeria's favorite plays out of the Princeton or Chin set. They use a backscreen from 1 on the initial ball screen to get 5 open for a layup. If that isn't available, 1 gets the ball back with his chance to create out of the pick & roll. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNigeria runs this as a counter to their regular Chin sets. 1 would normally use the back screen from 5, but in this play he goes over the flare from 4. After getting the ball, 1 drives baseline looking for an open shot off the hammer screen from 5 or for 2 filling behind. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNigeria has two different options for the point guard in this set. Both plays result in opportunities for a post up for a perimeter player with another guard coming off of a staggered screen for a 3 point shot. When 1 cuts to the strongside he will get the ball back and be the decision maker for the pass to the post up or staggered screen. When 1 cuts to the weakside he will be the one coming off of the staggered screen for the shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNigeria ran this option out of the Chin set on consecutive plays to open their game against Lithuania. This is a great way to start out attacking the paint and put the ball in your post player's hands. Nigeria was able to draw a foul on the first possession and get a layup on the second one to start the game. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLoyola-Chicago uses this play to shift the defense from one side of the floor to the other by allowing the ball to touch a different side of the floor at least four times during a given possession. Each time the ball switches sides of the floor, defensive players on the weak side of the floor have to sprint into help. When the ball gets back on their side of the floor, they then have to close out to contain the ball. Forcing the defense to move and make continual closeouts usually results in defensive breakdowns. This is how the Ramblers are able to attack the paint and get open shots. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUC Irvine ran this as the last play of their first half in their first round NCAA tournament game against Kansas State. 2 was able to turn the corner off the ball screen and hit 1 for the open three-point shot to tie the game. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw"Chin" action from Hungary ran at FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017. Initial look is for 5 to hit 1 for a lob off of the back-screen ("Chin") action. If the lob is denied, 1 & 3 cross underneath and 1 exits to the wing off of 5's down-screen for a catch from 4. As 1 catches the ball, 3 sets a weak-side flare screen for 4. 4 flares away to wing looking for a shot. If the flare is denied, 3 pops out to top for a catch from 1. 5 runs into a middle ball-screen for 2. 1, 2 & 4 space out to give a spread look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn Games 1 and 2 of the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics got a lot of credit for their smooth switches defensively. In games 3 and 4, the Cleveland Cavaliers countered with some basic actions to pick on the switching defense. Their most effective action was their "Point Flares," with LeBron James as the passer from the middle of the floor. The corner to wing flare allows the screener to seal and cut to the rim, for a pass over the top. This set gave the Celtics fits, resulting in multiple layups for Cleveland.
