Favorite Send to FastDrawWisconsin ran this play late in the second half of their 2017 NCAA tournament game against Florida. Down 7 at the time, they were looking for a three point shot. The Badgers used misdireciton to set up the elevator screen by starting the play on one wing and swinging the ball to the opposite side of the floor. The ball movement caused the defense to shift and relax.1 then cut through the elevator screen from 4 & 5 to receive the pass from 2 and get an open shot. Favorite Send to FastDrawSLOB "Spain" pick-and-roll action from CSKA Moscow. The movement on the handoff from 3/2 and 4 clearing to the corner after the down screen forces the defense to shift. This flows into a "Spain" pick-and-roll action where the defense is out of position to defend the action from all the movement. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMulti-option 1-4 High set, great for catch & shoot players, run by under-18 team of Kronos BC (Athens, Greece). Low post or Pick n' Roll action to finish the play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a disguised entry into 21. Defense is about positioning so getting any defense out of the position they are familar guarding an action out of automatically begins putting them to the test. This is only the entry into the 21 offense. If you have not seen that yet I recommend checking out my diagram of it here You can also run this action from the 1-4 High 21 Entry to combine two wrinkles to throw at the defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 2.8 seconds left in the 4th quarter and the Detroit Pistons trailing 91-92, they (Bob Beyer) ran this EOG SLOB action to get Henry Ellenson a 3-point shot in their game against the OKC Thunder at the 2017 Orlando NBA Summer League. The Screen-the-Screener action is decoy/misdirection to free Ellenson on the down-screen action. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawScreen the screener set (STS) ran by the Chicago Bulls this season. Commonly when a STS set is run, it will be followed by a ball screen ("Turn" action) in the spread pick and roll alignment which this set includes. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis SLOB set was used by Princeton in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Down by 3, with under 20 seconds left, this set resulted in a wide open three point shot. I have added an elevator screen to the end of this set, in the case that the first shooter does not have a shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen building your playbook for next season, we want to give you some things to consider. For example, do your sets have anything that make them easy to scout? Do they all start from different formations? Is it difficult to flow from the base offense, into the sets? Do they all use the same action? Do the sets lack versatility? These are all challenges, which coaches must consider, and do not realize until they face the best teams on their schedule. The "Elbow Series" below is an example of some sets that check all of the necessary boxes, which make them a solid addition to your playbook. Read More: http://bit.ly/2pbH6L1 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWichita State ran this Lob Play in their 2nd round of the game against the Univesity of Kentucky. A very well conceived play with multiple cutting actions before the actual lob which gives nothing away. The cut down the lane by Shamet really sets up the screen as McDuffie clears to the strong side. The Shockers were a very underseeded team this year in the NCAA Tournament, but have a lot of potential coming back next year to make another NCAA run. See More
