When Curry has true post players surrounding him, the Warriors will often run into Double Drag, a double-high ball screen action that strikes before a defense can properly get into position. Because of the spacing of shooters in the corners and the attention Steph receives in ball screens, the rim is often left unguarded. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawSean Miller's Offensive sets are very creative, involve a lot of movement and do a good job changing sides of the floor. This Princeton type Motion Action invovles a lot of screening actions, incorporates two ball screens and forces the Defense to be aware of cutters and movements on the weak side. The opening action off the FT line elbow screen can yield a lob if the defender on the cutter gets hung up on the screen or is late trailing his man. Use also have the back screen Flex type cut for Trier which can get your 3 man a quick post-up or easy lay-up off the ball reversal step out from the 5 man. The play ends with either a SPNR or Step-up screen from the baseline. Well designed, easy to execute, but very hard to defend when utilizing a full shot clock. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWinthrop's terrific guard, Keon Johnson, was being trapped in wing ball screens. To counter this, Winthrop utilized an action which the Oklahoma City Thunder run regularly to free up Russell Westbrook. They set a zipper screen, to eliminate the hard hedge. At the point of the ball screen, the 5 sets a Flip Ball Screen. A flip ball screen is simply "flipping" the screening angle, at the point of the ball screen.
