Favorite Send to FastDrawUNCW ran Loop action several times against Duke in the 1st half, and this was one play I particularly liked. After two runs off the stagger and receives the ball, 5 cross screens 4 into a side pick and roll. The 4 slips early to the corner for a look at a 3pt shot. This puts a lot of pressure on x4 defensively, but in this particular case, Duke's Ingram just had so much length that he was able to closeout in time to prevent the 3pt shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSyracuse started the game against Dayton with this play. In typical pick and roll coverage, x2 is responsible for nail/FT line coverage to prevent a drive by the ballhandler. This makes x2 susceptible to a flare screen, which Syracuse was able to use to start the game with a good 3pt look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDayton used this ATO play against Syracuse at 11:51 in the first half for a successful lob conversion. The ballscreen by 4 occupies both guards at the top of the 2-3 zone, which 5 sets a backscreen on x5 in the middle of the zone. This gives 3 a path to the basket for a lob. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawUse this action as a change-up entry into traditional zone offense. Tips: 3 can flash into soft spot in the zone, but you want them to be in position to set ball screen on X2 when 2 receives the pass. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawXavier went on an 11-0 run and Ole Miss called timeout. After the timeout, the Rebels used this double high ballscreen throwback action to get the ball in the hands of their best player Stefan Moody. Moody scored with an explosive layup in the lane. Kickout option is there for 1 and 3 as well. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawCounters to the UNC Secondary Break. "Dribble" option is a counter to denial of pass to the trailing post. It is a read not a call. Players react to point guard dribbling over the high ball screen from the trailer. Tips: 2's rule is the same: Touch the block then backscreen for trailer 4 goes and sets the ball screen even with the lane line 2 takes one or two dribbles after separating from the screen and looks to make "scoop" entry into the post See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother Fred Hoiberg, Iowa State zone set. This is after a timeout vs. Texas. Inside ball screen against top piece of the zone the sprint to corner off rear screen. Screener then slips into high post. See More
