Transition Offense with Pin Down
09/20/2012This is a transition man to man set. Look to get into it as quickly as possible before the defense can get set. It is a pretty simple action but it is a good quick hitter before the defense can get matched up. The screener needs to set a good screen and the cutter needs to come off looking to score. SLOB - Slice Screen Rescreen/Counter Play
09/19/2012As soon as the ball is inbounded you want to get right into the play. Your first look is for the cutter coming off of the re screen but don’t get so focused on him that you miss the big man who set the screen or the weak side screening action. The cutter needs to sell his slice cut to get his defender to drop into the paint. After the big man sets the rescreen he needs to open up to the ball and look to get a catch.
