UTEP BLOB Line Spread

Wes Kosel 07/20/2015

In this BLOB play, 1 starts with the ball out of bounds. 5 steps out to the corner drawing his defender with him. This is especially effective when your 5 can shoot. 2 cuts to the opposite block and 3 dives down the lane line looking for the ball. If no option is open, 1 can throw the ball over the top to 4 to get the ball inbounds. See More

Basketball Play - Laker Wall Options

Laker Wall Options

Wes Kosel 07/20/2015

1 dribbles to the left side giving the ball to 2 on a dribble hand-off. 4 and 5 move to the right elbow and set up a wall with a double-screen. 2 looks to pass to 3 cutting off of the double-screen for a shot. In the second option, 1 passes to 2 off of a zipper cut to start the play. 2 quickly passes off to 4 while 1, 5, and 3 form a wall. At the same time, 3 cuts up for a shot and 1 cuts to the basket. If neither option is there, 2 loops back around 4 for a hand-off while 1 cuts off of a staggered down-screen from 5 and 3. In option 3, 2 screens for 4 instead of cutting to the corner (off of option 2). 4 looks to drive to the basket as 1 cuts to the rim. Option 4: 2 cuts around 4 to the corner and 5 now sets the ball-screen for 4 sprinting out of the wall. See More

Basketball Play - 4 Chair Drill I

4 Chair Drill I

Matthew Monroe 07/19/2015

Note: Mix up your dribble move combinations and finishes. For example, the first part of the drill you have the player start with a sweep and a rip, go through the chairs making cross overs, speed dribble to the last chair, go between their legs, and finish with a floater. The second time you do the drill you may change up each part of it to work on different moves and finishes. See More

Basketball Play - Lebron Miami Heat SLOB

Lebron Miami Heat SLOB

Wes Kosel 07/18/2015

Allen throws the ball into James as James steps out from the elbow. The first option is to pass to Wade cutting off of a back-screen from Bosh. Another option is for Wade to flare the screen and have Bosh step back to the ball for the pass from James. If Bosh gets the ball, he can play a 2-man game with Wade on the right side of the floor. Basketball Play - 32

32

Andrew Lacey 07/13/2015

Start in a 1-2-2 alignment with your bigs on the blocks. 1 will dribble the basketball away from the side he wants to enter the ball. (ex. Go away from your best shooter). As one is coming back to the shooter's side; 4/5 will set a double screen (elevator screen) for the shooter (2 in this case). 2 will sprint around the screen and back to the ball side corner looking for the shot. 3 will slide to the weak-side corner. If 2 is not open for the pass/shot. 5 (or the post thats at the top of the double screen) will set a screen for the 4 (or post at the bottom of the double screen). 4 then curls tight off the screen looking for a pass from 1.
