The Box & One defense is a very common way to shut down a star player. You can use the following play, if your point guard is the one being guarded one on one. Your big man becomes the main threat easily.
FRAME 1:
- 1 DRIBBLES TO THE SIDE, TAKES X1 WITH HIM AND DRAWS X2 ATTENTION
- 1 PASSES THE BALL TO 2
- THIS FORCES X5 TO GUARD THE BALL
- 4 IMMEDIATELY SCREENS X4
- 5 CUTS RIGHT UNDER THE BASKET
- 3 FILLS THE TOP TO KEEP X3 BUSY
