The Baylor Bears were down 4 with 26.4 seconds left and ran this play to get a look at a 3. Having the 5 catch the inbounds pass is usually the easiest outlet. As 1 cuts to 4, the fake backscreen slows down 1's defender and gives 1 just enough time to get the handoff the shot.
