This is a set from the North Carolina Tar Heels that is great for a team lookin for several options out of the same unconventional formation.
This is a formation the Tarheels used in rounds 1 and 2 with varying actions. The first is to show 4 and 5 screening for 1 who clears out back the the weakside, before the ball is tossed over head to 5 in the midpost.
In this variation, the inbounder runs into a handoff or fake handoff, leaving 5 in the midpost in isolation.
The 2nd variation has 4 and 5 appearing to screen and 1 screening the first screener and 4 cutting to the rim for a quick inbound.
In the 3rd variation, 5 and 4 appear to set screens before 4 slips to the rim.
