About This Play/Drill

The 8th-ranked Maryland women's basketball team bounced back from their first loss of the season to beat Virginia 68-61 on Monday night.

Lynetta Kizer had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Terrapins (17-1, 4-1) in her first double-double of the season. Alicia DeVaughn added nine points, and she and Tianna Hawkins each added nine rebounds.

Maryland, one of the nation's top rebounding teams, held a 43-33 advantage on the glass.

The Terps also got 18 points off Virginia's 13 turnovers, while the Cavaliers capitalized for just nine points off Maryland's 17 giveaways.

Next, Maryland will welcome Wake Forest (11-6, 1-3) to Comcast Center for a 7 p.m. matchup on Thursday.

Today's "Play of the Day" from the Maryland Women's FastDraw playbook is a half court set designed to isolate players in positions where they can utilize their strengths to score.

To demonstrate today's drill, we use video from the Gonzaga Men's basketball team. The Maryland staff uses the same Fast Model products that Gonzaga and over 80% of Men's and Women's Division I basketball use to prepare for practices and games. Every NBA has been added to our client list as well.

Of course, you do not have to be an NBA or NCAA coach to gain access to such popular tools. Our numbers are growing rapidly at the small college, high school, youth, and international levels, and our products are available to coaches anywhere in the world. If you are looking for the best coaching tools available, look no further than here.

Thanks again to Coach Bowden and the Maryland staff for sharing a piece of their playbook with the Fast Model Family. We are always proud to showcase our Fast Model clients and their ideas.
