About This Play/Drill

This is a simple and effective zone quick hitter against a 2-3 defense. This play can be used at any time during the game. This simple play does a great job of getting the 2-3 zone out of position for a wide open three or a baseline drive.

1. The 1 passes the ball to 2 and clears out to the weak side corner
2. The 4 comes up and sets a screen on the strong side defender on the ball.
3. The 2 attacks hard off this ball screen and MUST freeze the opposite defender of the 2-3 zone at the top and will kick out to the weak side wing (3).
4. The 3 quickly swings the ball to the corner for a wide open shot or dribble drive into the middle of the defense. 

This play is simple but you can play with your positions to get exactly what you want out of this play!
