A counter to the popular pistol flare set. Knowing the defense will trail a good shooter, the shooter curls to the basket and wide open lane for a layup. If no pass to the curl, 4 and 1 will pick and roll.
2 steps up to screen for 1 giving the look of pistol flare. 1 dribbles to the wing and 2 curls around the screen by 4. 1 passes to 2.
