This offense was implemented to help incorporate constant screening and cutting into a continuity offense. There are options to score on cuts, post ups, down screening and slips. We've found wrinkles and set plays from within the base offense that have been effective.

Iverson cuts to get clean entry
HARD screens and HARD cuts! 4 players are interchangeable in the continuity except the 5 position (continuous screener). Reverse the ball, low back screen into double stagger (STS). The low back screen is an opportunity to attack a switch in the post. After receiving the low back screen, 2 should be constantly sealing his defender to occupy him promote post entries. If the ball is thrown into the post we should explore "second cuts." 5 should look to screen his own man vs switching defense. 3 needs to work to get open on the three point line so he has a good angle to feed the past. 2 can look to shoot, drive or look hi/low on the catch. If those options aren't there, he should look to reverse.
To continue the offense, we reverse the ball to get back to our 1-3-1 formation. We want to hold our position and pop out when the ball is ready to be reversed. The low back screen needs to be timed properly - better late than early. We are set to run the same action.
On a post entry, we initiate a split action with a dive from the high post. All layers should be trained on the basic middle post move series.
