As the WNBA playoffs draw near, the Minnesota Lynx have set themselves apart from the rest of the Western Conference. They have clinched the top seed in the West behind All-Stars Lindsay Whalen, Maya Moore, Rebekkah Brunson, and Seimone Augustus.
Today's FastDraw Play of the Day is a prime example of the kind of coordinated effort shown every game by this remarkable team. Lynx Head Coach, Cheryl Reeve has done a masterful job of putting this talented squad in a position to win on a regular basis, and is a leading candidate.

1 (Whalen) passes to 4 (Brunson) and fakes a basket cut, plants and gets a back screen from 5 to loosen her defender.

Brunson passes back to Whalen and she attacks the basket as 3 and 5 cut high to move the defense up. Whalen reverses direction as Brunson cuts back door to receive a timed pass from Whalen for a layup.
