Today's Play of the Day is a quick hitter from the Xavier FastDraw playbook, run in their win over Dayton. Just one of their many ball screen actions, this set forces the defense to deal with a quick re-screen into a roll. In the video below, Dayton does a nice job defending the roll, and Xavier is forced to improvise:

Frame 1 - 3 loops along baseline as 2 slice cuts off of 4's screen to receive pass from 1. 5 slides down the lane on weak side.

Frame 2 - 4 turns and immediately re-screens for 2. 2 uses ball screen and hits 4 on the roll. 1 and 3 interchange and spot up while 5 looks for soft spot on weak side.
