Coach Ken Updike used Hilton as a late full court BLOB play that presents options for a two or three.
The 4 or 5 can take the ball out. 1 uses 2's screen and streaks down the sideline. After setting the screen, 2 rolls back towards the ball. 4 can hit 1 on the streak pass or 2 on the come replace move. The 5 will screen down for the 3 around the foul line area. The 3 will use the screen and break hard to the mid-court area, looking for a pass from the 1 or 2.
The 3 has three options:
1. Throw quick lob pass to 5 who should be rolling to the basket.
2. Pass to the 1 who is streaking down the sideline for a quick 3-pointer.
3. Drive to the basket.
