About This Play/Drill

BLOB play ran by Dimitris Itoudis, head coach of CSKA Moscow, during the 2018-19 EuroLeague season.

The concept is to get 2 the ball at the top and have 5 set a step-up screen, while having spot shooters at the weak side. Spacing is important, in order to have defenders rotate and attack in close-out situations.
