1 delivers the dribble pitch to 4

4 may look to attack downhill

1 replaces

4 stretches with one or two dribbles then passes back to 1

(MIX = misdirection. 4 dribbles one way and throws back the other passing against the grain of the defense's movement)

5 begins to rise

If 4 is able to MIX to 1, 5 rises into the angle ball screen.

If 4 is unable to MIX to 1 enter to 5 at elbow and get into the handoff off the elbow

NOTE: 3 has option to clear out to the other side or hold the corner (shown)

If 4 is unable to MIX to 1 or enter to 5 at elbow, 5 may back screen for a lob opportunity

5 separates from back screen, receives pass from 4 then looks to the 3 side.

Here 5 passes to 3...

...then 5 follows into wing ball screen

5 may also continue into DHO with 3
