A common screen the screener set ran by a lot of High School, College, and NBA teams was used by the Indiana Pacers against the Miami Heat. As you will see in most of Indiana's play sets they run a lot of stuff for their 3 man, #24 Paul George. Here they use George to set the back screen for the post before he runs off 5's screen for a wing catch. He has the option to shoot, drive, or dump it inside to the posting #55 Roy Hibbert.
1 takes his man down and hits 5 who created position for a pass at the top of the key.
5 dribbles at the 2 for a dribble handoff. 4 moves to the side of the floor that 5 dribbles at.
When 2 gets the dribble handoff he dribbles to the top of the key. 3 sets a cross screen for 4 coming back looking for the post up. 1 drifts to the wing/corner. 5 after giving the dribble handoff to the 2 sprints into a screen for 3 who runs off looking for the pass. 5 dives to the basket for post position after screening.
3 enters the ball to the posting 5 man. 1 spaces to the corner, 2 moves over to the wing. 4 drops down for rebounding position.
