A very simple Post Isolation into Cross Screen/Down Screen set play. A widely used action, but difficult to guard because it includes a pair of ball reversals, a couple of post isolations, and forces difficult decision-making by defenders who get caught up in quick screens.
1 dribbles to the wing. 3 cuts through to the opposite block while 5 drops down into the low post. The first option is to get 5 a Post Isolation.
4 will cut to the top of the key. If 5 is not available for a Post Isolation, then 1 passes the ball to 4.
3 cuts to the wing while 2 SPRINTS into the lane to set a Cross Screen for 5.
4 swings the ball to 3 while 2 sets the Cross Screen for 5. Then, 4 sets a Down Screen for 2 (Cross Screen/Down Screen).
3 has options to either pass to 5 in the post or pass to 2 for a shot.
