21 Flex Hold KU - FastModel Sports

About This Play/Drill

This is a wrinkle off of the 21/Pistol flex entry. This is a set play so you will need a secondary action to get into if the KU (high low) look is not there. 

This is a set play that flows into 21.

  • Basketball Play - 21 Flex Hold KU
  • Basketball Play - 21 Flex Hold KU
  • Basketball Play - 21 Flex Hold KU
  • Our first look is 2 under the rim for a layup off of 5's screen. You can also post him up here in the lane if you have a size mismatch
  • Instead of cutting to the wing, 2 will cut to the top of the key and three will lift to recieve 1's pass (try and catch this in the same place you would run the pistol offense from, elbow extended on the wing)
  • 5 after setting his cross screen will immediately spin and seal his man on his back for the deep entry pass from 3 or even 1 if its there early. 
    To reset into Pistol: 
    1 - run the pistol cut off of 3 to the corner for the offense to start
    2-  cut to the opposite corner
    4 - fill the top of the key to run whatever action dictaed by the guards
    5 - fill to the weakside wing
