Two good things will happen when running Hard Back Drive. With good spacing, 1 can use the on ball screen and get corner turned into the lane for shot. If X4 allows, 4 can step in and seal hard in the lane and get bounce pass from 1 for post score.

1 enters to 4 on wing and follows for hand back.

4 uses 5 to cut over top for possible lob pass as 2 fills right corner.

1 uses on ball screen by 5 to get into lane to score or bounce to 4 stepping in.
