SLOB - Back Screen with Hand Off - FastModel Sports

This is a good SLOB play with multiple options and reads. You want to have your best guard taking the ball out that way he has the option to cut off the back screen or refuse the back screen and get a hand off. Once you have burned the team off of the back screen you have the counter action to have the guard taking the ball out of bounds to use the hand off with the same weakside flare action.

1. 5 pops out, 2 passes to 5.
2. 2 cuts off of 5's back screen to the rim
Option 1 - 5 passes to 2 for a lay up.

1. 1 cuts towards 5 for a hand off.
Option 1 - 1 creates his own shot off of the hand off from 5.
2. 4 sets a flare screen for 3.
Option 2 - 1 or 5 passes to 3 for a three point shot off of 3's flare screen.

COUNTER ACTION
1. 2 cuts towards 1's back screen and cuts towards 5 for a hand off.
Option 1 - 2 creates his own shot off of the hand off from 5.
2. 3 cuts off of 4's flare screen for a three point shot.
Option 2 - 2 or 5 passes to 3 for a three point shot off of 4's flare screen.
