This Dr. Dish shooting drill is designed to get 3 point shots on the move laterally and to work on footwork. Whether you teach the 1-2 or the hop, this drill can get each player plenty of repetitions in 60 seconds.
Settings: Location (18, 16), Tempo (3)
Setup: Shooter ready on perimeter
60 second clock starts.
Player receives the pass and shoots
Player cuts to next spot, receives pass and shoots.
Player cuts back to previous spot.
Action continues for 60 seconds.
Drill can be run at any two spots around the perimeter.
