This horns set play by Miami is great for getting your 4 or 5 man looks inside. The intial ball-screen gives 4 the opportunity post up on the roll. If that isn't open, 3 dribbling to the left wing gives 5 the opportunity to get open. If that still isn't open, 4 flashing to the elbow gives you a nice hi/lo look. The different options get you to the same result trying to get the ball inside to 4 or 5.
1 dribbles to the left wing then dribbles off of a staggered ball-screen from 4 and 5.
As 1 clears the screen, 4 rolls to the basket.
1 looks to pass to 4 for a lay-up or dunk.
5 screens down for 3.
3 cuts to the top of the key for a shot.
1 passes to 3.
If 3 doesn't have a shot, he dribbles to the left wing looking to pass to 5 posting up.
If 5 isn't open, 4 flashes to the elbow.
3 passes to 4 who looks to pass to 5 inside.
Option 2 starts just like option 1 with 1 dribbling to the left wing then taking the ball off of the staggered ball-screen from 4 and 5.
After 1 clears the screen, 4 sets a flare screen for 5.
5 flares to the wing and 4 dives to the low post.
1 looks to pass to 5 for the shot or to 4 at the basket.
If neither are open, 5 screens down for 3.
3 cuts up towards the top of the key for a shot.
5 rolls to the basket.
1 looks to pass to 3 for the shot or to 5 for a lay-up.
If 3 doesn't have a shot, he dribbles toward the left wing and looks inside to 5 posting up.
Just as in option 1, 4 flashes to the elbow and looks to make the hi/lo pass to 5 inside.
