This backdoor play is great for teams that will either switch or deny the shallow cut to the wing for the point guard. Memphis ran this in the postseason last year against the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2 of their series after they started Game 1 by pressuring Conley on the perimeter.

1 hits 2, then shallow cuts to the opposite wing, pushing 3 thru. Ball swings thru the trailer and 4 raises up to the high post

5 dribbles at the top towards 1 on the wing, and 1 darts backdoor with the basket area cleared for a layup
