TIGHT / CURL CUT (Screener Goes Opposite the Cutter):

- 4 man fakes like he is cutting to the basket and gets his butt to the ball for a better angle on his screen

- 4 man simulates a downscreen and holds for a count

- The screener always goes opposite the cutter: on a TIGHT / CURL cut, the screener will pop for a shot

- 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees, takes 1 dribble and passes the ball to the 4 man     

 

 

POCKET CUT (Cutter's defender goes underneath the screen, and gets screened):

- 4 man fakes like he is cutting to the basket and gets his butt to the ball for a better angle on his screen

- 4 man simulates a downscreen and holds for a count

- The screener always goes opposite the cutter: on a POCKET cut, the screener will cut to the basket

- 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees, takes 1 dribble and passes the ball to the 4 man     

 

FADE CUT (Cutter's defender goes underneath the screen):

 

- 4 man fakes like he is cutting to the basket and gets his butt to the ball for a better angle on his screen

- 4 man simulates a downscreen and holds for a count

- The screener always goes opposite the cutter: on a FADE cut, the screener will change the angle of his screen and cut to the basket

- 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees, takes 1 dribble and passes the ball to the 4 man
