The Demon Deacons have already knocked off UNC this year and were looking to take down the mighty Orangemen last night at the Joel, but it wasn't meant to be. Wake Forest has a really good Continuity Offense they used with some effect in the 1st half to seize control of the high post area against the vaulted 2-3 Zone of Jim Boeheim. Last night this play was run at the beginning of the game between the Florida Gators and Mississippi State. It struck me as such a strong opening play that I had to diagram it and share with the other coaches out there. A lot of movement, the use of the DHO and at the end, a perfectly played pass inside for the seal action and easy basket.
