Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, the Wildcats use several cross-screens to get shot opportunities. The first cross-screen is with both guards in the lane. If 3 isn't open for a shot in the corner, 2 screens across for 5 in the lane. If 5 isn't open, he turns to screen for 2 who cuts back to the short corner for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a NBA Golden State Warriors Dribble Hand-Off / Pick and Roll Action from Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Finals. Steve Kerr is doing an excellent job in getting great motion and action into his set plays for their players. The Golden State Warriors are the team that I want to watch in the NBA Play-offs for my new sets. Steve Kerry has installed a system that is like the NBA San Antonio Spurs in it's movement, flow and creativity. The starters and reserves have bought into this system all season. David Lee is even getting a second chance in these NBA Playoffs. He is seizing the moment too. Stephy Curry and Klay Thompson are indeed the Splash Brothers and either of them can go off for 20 points in a quarter at any moment. Curry is the MVP, but Thompson is likely to go off on any night. They were one of the best teams ever in the regular season, despite the trip up from the always difficult Memphis Grizzlies. I love this action and you will notice that I chose a play where Steph Curry isn't in the game. It's an example of how their reserves have bought in. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe play starts in a 1-4 high with 2 and 3 exchanging wing positions. 1 passes to 3 then moves to the opposite side of the floor. 5 and 4 move over to screen for 3 on the wing. 4 looks to slip the screen and if that isn't open 5 sets a ball-screen for 3 on the wing. Favorite Send to FastDrawBrad Stevens runs a nice set that starts with a Dribble Handoff into a backscreen with great options for a shot for the point guard, a ballscreen and then continuity into screen the screener action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawChris Paul has really hurt the San Antonio Spurs in this years playoffs running this PNR Set. Doc Rivers called it "45" from the sideline (hand motion 4-5 blinking) and this set has allowed Chris Paul to attack off the PNR very well. Both bigs start at the elbows, and then flash near half court at the same time setting a ballscreen on each side for Chris Paul to attack off of. They have options where a big turns, but the main reason this set works is due to the fact that San Antonio likes to pressure high. It forces the bigs to make a decision and does not allow a guard to go under the ballscreen. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play was used eary in the game against Robert Morris and resulted in a foul down low as Okafor went up for a shot off of the hi/lo pass. Coach K does a great job creating an overload that forces Robert Morris to spread out and leave 1 defender on Okafor under the basket. Okafor seals the middle man in the zone and looks for the pass over the top. In the game, x4 could have helped on the lob pass but was stuck anticipating that the ball would be pass to Tyus Jones for a 3-point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBelmont has incredible Baseline Out of Bounds plays. In this set they get a quick look for their best 3 point shooter to have the option to come off of 2 screens for a 3. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBelmont runs good action out of their transition attacking. Typically using a Drag screen to free up the PG. In this set, the PG looks to come off a Drag screen and kick to the wing. On the kick both 4 & 5 set a Double HI Ballscreen and look to slip it and 1/3 space on the wing in corner. Because Belmont has almost all shooter on the floor, it results in a lot of space to attack from. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPurdue runs a nice BLOB vs 2-3 zone. The initial action is not what gets a layup, its the combination of all 5 players moving at the same time. The keys to this set is 3 slipping into the middle of the zone after inbounding the ball and at the same time 5 slips his screen to look for the ball, with two wing players distracting the wing defenders, this action forces the zone to guard either the wings who can shoot it or the bigs inside.
