Former Detroit Pistons Head Coach Don Chaney ran this Zipper action to get a 1-on-1 isolation for Joe Dumars (2).
Zipper action is run in the normal manner, with the player to be used in the isolation lined up on the weak side. 1 dribbles to the opposite side of the floor from 2 and passes to 3, who is cutting off 4. As 3 catches the pass, 5 down screens for 2 and clears out, creating an isolation situation.
