The Detroit Pistons used this late game SLOB play to get two options for a 3. After the ball is inbounded to the post, 4 sets a flare screen for 2. This provides opportunities for both players to get a look at a three point shot depending on how the defense plays them. In this situation both defenders went with 2, leaving 4 for open for the shot.

4 sets a flare screen for 3 then cuts to the ball.
1 passes to 5.

4 sets a flare screen for 2 then pops out.
5 can pass to 2 or 4 for a three point shot.
